Emily Fox received her B.F.A in Writing, Literature, and Publishing with a minor in Philosophy from Emerson College in Boston in 2008. While in school she worked with Boston University’s Prison Education Program conducting study sessions and mentoring female inmates at South Middlesex Correctional Center. After graduating, Emily joined Teach For America and taught 7th grade Language Arts and 8th grade Social Studies in Newark, NJ. She is currently a graduate student at American University pursuing her Masters of Science in Justice, Law, and Society and recording her first album of original songs.
