Vanessa is a student research assistant at the Justice Programs Office. Originally from Cameroon, Vanessa is currently a junior and majors in Business and International Studies in the Kogod School of Business at American University. Before working in the JPO, she did various internships in a prominent bank and government agencies in her home country.In the JPO, she works on various Drug Court and Criminal Court projects. Fluent in French and English and knowledgeable in Spanish, Vanessa also puts her language skills to work by translating foreign documents. After graduation,Vanessa wants to pursue a double graduate degree in law (J.D) and business(M.B.A). In her free time, Vanessa enjoys traveling, reading, and cooking.
