Anh Duong is a graduate of the AU OPM Program, Class of 2006. When asked about her SPA experience, Anh was both enthusiastic and appreciative. "Aside from the nuts and bolts of public administration, which one would expect from any SPA program," says Duong, "what makes the AU program stand out is its superb emphasis on leadership. Prior to my arrival at AU, I had thought that leadership was all about others - how one gets others to do what one wants. Thanks to my AU experience, I now realize that leadership is mainly a self-discovery journey." "Ah! Hence the good news!" Duong exclaimed, "because I can attempt to change myself much easier than attempting to change others."
